We request that you pack sturdy cardboard boxes, being careful not to overfill them. Wrap breakables in bubble wrap if possible, to reduce the chance of damage.

Some other tips:

• Grab some quality packing tape when you pick up your boxes
• Write the contents of each box on the top, as well as the room it should go in in your new property
• Cushion the bottom of the box
• Place heavier items at the bottom of the box
• Don’t overload large boxes with books – it can make them too heavy for even the strongest removalists!

All goods moved by us are covered by public liability and goods in transit insurance.  Premium Interstate Moves have further protection with comprehensive insurance.

For those moves not covered by comprehensive insurance we can provided this as an optional extra for you. 

Sometimes, if you are moving interstate, you might find that you can be flexible with timing. If this is the case, we can add your belongings to a truck that is already scheduled to make the trip. They will be stored separately and be well taken care of.

Choosing backloading to fill a half empty truck can save you up to 50% on the cost of your interstate removals. The only drawback is that there may be a period of 2 – 5 days when your goods are scheduled to arrive.
